Hungarian forint reached historical low against USD today
The currency exchange rate worsened by HUF 5 only on Friday.
According to hvg.hu, the American currency strengthened significantly against the forint on Friday and people needed to pay even HUF 417 for USD 1. That is a new historical low.
The Hungarian media outlet suggests that the reason is not domestic because the forint weakened even against the euro. Meanwhile, the dollar strengthened even against the EU currency.
